Mondays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.     Book pickup only Fridays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.         Book return only

Checking Out Books

To check out a book from the library, please refer to the Surry County Agricultural Extension Horticulture Library book listing. Patrons may check out one to two books per person at one time. Call the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Surry County office at 336-401-8025 to request the book(s) of your choice. Books will be placed on a cart in the office lobby and will be available for pickup on the designated Monday from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

Returning Books

Books should be returned within 30 days of the checkout date. Books should be placed on the designated cart in the Extension office lobby on Fridays from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. A replacement fee will be charged for lost or damaged books.For questions regarding the library, please contact our office at 336-401-8025.

COVID-19 Protocol

Upon return, books are quarantined for 10 days before being placed back on the shelf or available for check out.
