N.C. Cooperative Extension, Surry Center had the pleasure of hosting a group of producers from the Northern Neck of Virginia yesterday as part of their week-long tour! Our first stop was at Miss Angel’s Farm & Orchard where producers learned about peach production. We also stopped at the Johnson Farm Operations and learned about crop and beef cattle production. Our last stop was at Mike Gillispie Farm, Inc to learn about beef cattle. Our guests were able to see a variety of operations in the county yesterday and learn from their peers in other states. It was a great experience and we are grateful to our farmers for hosting this group!
