Meet Abigail Moore

Hi everyone! My name is Abigail Moore, and I’m excited to be joining the team as the EFNEP Program Assistant Adult Educator. I’m really looking forward to getting started, learning from all of you, and contributing to the program in ways that support and connect with the community I share here in the Surry County area.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, whether that’s exploring new hiking trails, or just enjoying nature quietly from a hammock. I also love crafting and reading exciting books on my kindle in my downtime. Another hobby of mine is collecting vinyl records, I enjoy the experience of listening to music that way and searching for new additions for my collection at antique stores. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I always enjoy visiting new places and experiencing different cultures, it’s always so enriching. When I’m relaxing, I also love treating myself to a good cinnamon and honey latte.

I’m really happy to be part of the team here in the Extension Office, and I look forward to getting to know everyone and pouring back into my community in this position.
