post card about Spain

Take a fantastic journey around the world, one book, and one country at a time. Join us as we read our way around the globe, learning about the culture, arts, foods, and landscape of countries around the world. Each month we will debut a new book and country to explore; learning about the peoples and places in our world.

Our first stop on this around the world adventure is Spain! Join us on September 30, 2020, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. in a secure Zoom site for this great adventure. We will have storytime, crafts, music, and a small taste of Spain while we tour the country virtually.

All supplies will be given to each participant and can be picked up at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pamlico or Currituck County Centers, once registration is complete. There is no fee involved in this program, however, we have a limited amount of participants we can accommodate. Registration will remain open until September 29, 2020, or until all spaces are filled. The book and activities selected are for youth ages 5-10, however, all are welcome. You may register online at https://bookexplorers.eventbrite.com. Your registration is not complete until enrollment in 4HOnline is complete. Those forms can be found at 4HOnline.

For more information or accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Kait Neeland at kmneelan@ncsu.edu, (252) 745-4121 (Pamlico) or Sherry Fischlschweiger at slfischl@ncsu.edu, (252) 232-2262, (Currituck), no later than five business days before the event.
