Junior Master Chef: Persevering Edition!
Want to learn basic and kid-friendly ways of preserving fresh fruits and vegetables at home? Join the Junior Master Chef Program – Preserving Edition! We will discuss the process of dehydration, canning/pickling, and freezing while making fruit leathers, freezer berry jam, and easy refrigerator pickles! This is a self-paced program that provides pre-recorded videos that youth can follow along to learn all about preserving! A list of the supplies needed will be provided if participants choose to complete the activities (youth must have a caregiver present if they are completing the activities).
