2016 Surry County Bee School Begins Monday

Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a beekeeper? The Surry County Bee School is a great place to start! Topics that will be covered include: equipment, seasonal hive management, pests and disease of honeybees, and much more! There will also be a field day at a bee yard! The classes will be held in the downstairs meeting room of Farm Bureau (112 White St., Dobson). The classes are every Monday from March 7th through April 4th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There is a $10 fee (payable at the first class to the “Surry County Beekeepers Association”). If  you are interested, please call Surry Community College at 336-386-3618 to register!
